Tansley Reads

Are you a member of Tansley?  Do you enjoy reading and discussing books? Socializing with other readers? Tansley Reads! might suit your interests. We meet at 7:30 on the fourth Monday of every month (Sept – June, except December) to discuss a different book. And there are refreshments!

Our first meeting the 2017-18 season will be Monday September 24th, when we’ll nominate books for the program and select 8 for the year. If you like, please bring one title to nominate and a backup in case of duplications. Even if you don’t have a nomination, come and help select the books for this year.

Each month we’ll rate the book we discuss, and by next June we’ll have a winner to recommend to the congregation. Most of the books we choose are fiction, but we usually include one memoir or biography each year.

A list of past winners are listed below.
If you’d like more details, please contact Sheila Young (shesskyoung@gmail.com), Jennifer Brezina (aj.brezina@sympatico.ca), Sue Stephen (sue.stephen0305@gmail.com) or Janice Hatt (janicehatt@gmail.com).
