Faithful Readers Book Club

Tansley Reads! has a new name! At our June meeting the book club decided that we will now be known as Faithful Readers.

So if you enjoy reading and discussing books and socializing with other readers, Faithful Readers might meet your interests. We meet in the back of the sanctuary at 7:30 on the fourth Monday of every month (Sept – June, except December) to discuss a different book. Each month we rate the book we discuss, and by next May we’ll have a winner to recommend to the congregation. And there are refreshments! We’re trying something new this year: we selected the books for 2019-20 in June and have the full line-up in place for the year.

Faithful Readers will have its first meeting on Monday, September 23rd, when we’ll be discussing The Royal Secret by Lucinda Riley. Everyone in the Nelson St. Stephen Tansley/New Church congregation is invited to join us.

If you’d like more details, please contact Sheila Young (, Jennifer Brezina (, Sue Stephen ( or Janice Hatt ( Happy reading!
