Here are a few fun facts:

Every Ontarian has one unused Electronic device in their home.

50% of Ontarians have more that 6 items.

E-waste is not garbage—it contains valuable materials like base and precious metals, but also plastics and glass that can be safely recycled as resource materials to manufacture new products.

Recycling electronics through OES is regulated to rigorous environmental standards; keeping substances of concern—lead, cadmium, beryllium, mercury, brominated flame retardants—out of landfill; protecting ecosystems and waterways.

Tansley United Church, in co-operation with Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES), wants to help Burlington residents safely dispose of their unused electronics.

Here are some facts about what Tansley has been able to do:

Tansley has collected double the amount of material, compared to other church based events in the Golden Horseshoe and South Western Ontario region.

Tansley has been the highest collecting church in Ontario for the past 5 years
